Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Using Quick Books Accounting Software
Prepare monthly financial Reports ( Balance Sheet and
Profit and Loss accounts)
Prepare monthly Statutory Balances including G.C.T for
Prepare and post journal entries including payroll journals
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation
Data enter Income and Expenditure from source documents and present weekly Bank Balance
Prepare weekly cash flow
Maintain petty cash (Imprest Float)
Prepare cheque vouchers and cheques
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable reports
Liaise with Auditors and Bankers
Prepare reports for annual audit including statutory annual returns
Supervise Payroll Department
Any other accounting duties assigned to you from time to time
Reports to Directors- Finance and Admin
Ideally the person should possess the following attributes:

Completed ACCA Level 2 or equivalent
Minimum 2 years Accounting experience
High degree of computer literacy as well as a sound working knowledge of Accounting Software
Good command of the English Language (oral and written) -Salary is negotiable and is commensurate with qualification and proven experience
